STAND WITH TRUMP: GoFundMe Launched to Raise $355 Million Penalty in Protest To Engoron’s Verdict

Donald Trump fans continue to support Donald Trump amid his legal battles, as a rabid-leftist Manhattan judge ordered the former president to pay New York City a massive $355 million penalty in a civil fraud case against him.

Led by Elena Cardone, wife of businessman and private equity fund manager Grant Cardone, a GoFundMe was launched on Friday to help Trump cover his legal fees.

The description on the GoFundMe fundraiser states: “My name is Elena Cardone and I am a wife of Grant Cardone, mother and an ardent supporter of American values and an advocate for justice, I stand unwaveringly with President Donald Trump in the face of what I see as unprecedented and unfair treatment by certain judicial elements in New York.”

“The recent legal battles he faces are not just an attack on him, but an attack on the very ideals of fairness and due process that every American deserves.”

Cardone also slammed the recent verdict against Trump, which she described as a “moment that calls into question the balance of justice and the application of the law, disproportionately aimed at silencing a voice that has been at the forefront of advocating for American strength, prosperity, and security.”

The MAGA supporter further called on fellow business owners and entrepreneurs to stand with Trump, as they fight “against a system that increasingly seeks to penalize dissent and curb our freedoms.”

Cardone blasted the decision and said, “The fact that a business owner did a loan with a bank, never defaulted, nor missed a payment, pays back the loan with interest and caused no financial damage to anyone, yet, the government overreaches and slaps a business owner with a $355M ruling should terrify all business owners and entrepreneurs.”

The GoFundMe campaign has already raised $412,135, mobilizing more than 8,000 supporters to pitch in and aid Trump’s legal struggles.

For Cardone, this fundraiser is “not merely about raising the “ruling” amount, it’s about making a stand.”

The largest single donation on Monday was $10,000 from an anonymous supporter.

Some donors also sent messages of support to the Republican leading nominee.

Before this, a Trump supporter also initiated a GoFundMe campaign in 2019 to fund the GOP leader’s border wall. The contribution reached $25 million before the posting was turned down.
