“Do Your Damn Job!” Top House Rep. Cory Mills Blasts Chuck Schumer For Pushing To Fund Ukraine Before The Border

Democrats in Congress now resort to fear-mongering to force lawmakers to railroad the so-called national security bill.

On Monday, Senate Majority Leader Senator Chuck Schumer (D) wrote on X, “Ukraine is dangerously low on supplies. If America doesn’t send aid to Ukraine with this national security bill, Putin is all too likely to succeed.”

The supplemental bill gained backlash recently as the majority of the funding isn’t allocated to ensuring internal security but will instead fund Biden’s war in Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan.

Rep. Cory Mills (R-Florida) slammed this move by Schumer and countered, “…our borders have been open with millions of criminal migrants illegally entering. Try caring as much about Americans as you do about funding Zelenskyy and his corrupt regime.”

He blasted, “Do your damn job Senaor and pass H.R.2 Secure the Border Act that’s been at the Senate for nearly a year!”

Rep. Mills earlier warned that the Senate Border bill text reflects the framework that will allow 1.8 million crossing of undocumented migrants on the US borders and funnel more funds into Ukraine’s foreign aid.

Additionally, the lawmaker questioned how these lawmakers intend “to explain to their constituents” that they will be using taxpayer’s money to secure borders of “another country” before we “secure our [own] border?”

“If we can’t protect the American people, then we should at least try and save them some money if Congress isn’t going to do their jobs,” Mills said in early January.

“The American people need to understand that President Biden has the authority to secure the border right now, yet he REFUSES to do it,” Mills emphasized.

The Florida lawmaker also highlighted that there have been more than 280 terrorists that entered the border, “not to mention the illegal migrants that brutally attacked two NYPD officers.”

These migrants were subsequently released without bail due to “lack of evidence.”

As the southern border remained closed and the Texas government held its ground, the flow of migrants surged and shifted to Arizona and California. Some also crossed Canada to enter New York.

Worse, a source from Customs and Border Patrol reported that in just about three months, they were able to record more than 1 million migrant encounters since October last year.

After failing to secure the border bill, and the chamber refused to inch forward, the Senate led by Sen. Schumer pushed to proceed with his long sought-after aid package for Ukraine and Israel, amounting to $95 billion.
