America’s worst mayor, Tiffany Henyard (D), faced corruption charges as the FBI served several subpoenas at Dolton Village Hall.
Henyard was also accused of covering up a sexual assault by one of her colleagues against another employee.
According to the FBI, they were merely conducting “court-authorized law enforcement activity in the area.
An article from Fox 32 noted that four FBI agents visited Dolton in the afternoon, and carried two federal subpoenas.
The first subpoena was for employment records, personnel files, and disciplinary reports for Dolton employees, including Keith Freeman, the village administrator, and three police officers. Freeman was accused of bankruptcy fraud last Monday.
The second was for Freeman, asking him to submit copies of all companies linked with him and their ties to the village.
However, the FBI did not disclose additional information, and the self-described “supermayor” Henyard was excluded from the subpoenas.
The worst mayor in America is the mayor of Dolton, Illinois, and as supervisor of Thornton Township since 2022.
Residents hit Henyard for using police raids to attack opponents and spend taxpayers’ money on a lavish lifestyle in Las Vegas.
News about the FBI investigating the “supermayor” began in February when six individuals, including business owners, a former village employee, and public officials, spoke with the agency regarding her misconduct.
Last week, Dolton residents were forced to take matters into their own hands and voted to hire former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot as a “special investigator” to probe Henyard’s actions.
Dolton Trustee Tammie Brown appreciates the feds for looking into the matter.
“Months and months and months, we have been begging for someone to come out here and actually investigate what’s actually going on out here,” Brown remarked.
Earlier, Henyard also argued with residents of the Thornton township in a town hall meeting after they raised these issues against her.
Instead of taking responsibility for her actions, Henyard played the race card.
“Everybody wanted to continue to be a s—show and not really show facts as they relate to what’s really going on in our township.”
“Y’all got false narratives out there, and y’all should be ashamed of y’all selves. Y’all Black. Y’all are Black! And y’all sitting up here beating and attacking a Black woman that’s in power. Y’all should be ashamed of y’all selves,” she also remarked in a previous meeting.
The mayor also insisted that “God” chose her and claimed she met with President Joe Biden in January.
